...I was heading somewhere in the car when on the radio, Jurassic 5's "what's golden" came on. Upon hearing the opening bass thump, I loudly exclaimed "Oooh, I like this song"
My girlfriend replied "but it's hip hop?"
I laughed
I guess my reputation for listening to predominantly punk closes people off to the notion that I like other forms of music too.
I have no idea what made me remember this moment just now, but it still brings a smile to my face...
