Confused? definitely, but does it really matter...?

I understand the issue of body confidence to women, and how it effects the way women perceive there own bodies. I blame the mainstream media for this; seemingly within every Television programme lies a subliminal message suggesting how you should look. Women's Magazines are considerably more obvious in their delivery method. Not surprisingly, I know of very few women who wouldn't change a single aspect of themselves if the opportunity arose.

For one friend in particular, her own perception of herself is so far from reality that every time she talks about her size, I am left puzzled. The strange thing about my particularly curvaceous (but definitely not large) friend however is that she doesn't have a problem with how "big" she is - She is quite proud of it. This is reinforced by the hundreds of pictures posted and shared on Facebook, that truth be told, are 100% irrelevant to her. I'm often left laughing at these posts, simply for that fact. At the same time, I'm totally stoked with how comfortable she is with herself, despite the fact her own skewed imagination telling her something different.

All power to her...
